Parking lot striping is where a property tells your customer whether it's cared for or neglected — before they've reached the front door. Faded, crooked or missing stripes signal deferred maintenance across the whole property; sharp, high-contrast striping on fresh sealer says the opposite. Beyond curb appeal, striping is a safety-, ADA- and fire-code compliance issue. Missing van-accessible aisles, mis-sized handicap spaces or unmarked fire lanes are code violations that can carry real liability.
We handle striping for new lot layouts (from scratch), re-stripes over existing lines, and re-stripes over fresh sealer — which is the highest-value package because the black-on-fresh-sealer contrast is unmatched. Our crews use commercial-grade waterborne traffic paint applied at proper mil thickness with airless line stripers for edge sharpness. Standard yellow, white and blue paint are stocked; specialty colors and thermoplastics available on request.
ADA is where most re-layouts start. Current ADA-Accessible Parking Design requires specific space count ratios (1 per 25 up to 100 spaces, sliding scale above), specific space widths (8 feet minimum, plus a 5-foot access aisle for standard, 8-foot access aisle for van), a level (< 2% slope) surface, proper signage with height minimums, and detectable warning strips at ramp transitions. We know the current specs by heart and we bring them to every re-stripe so you're not paying to redo work in two years when code changes.
Fire lanes are the other big code item. Fire marshals in Middle Georgia require striped and stenciled fire lanes at specific building frontages, with 'FIRE LANE — NO PARKING' text repeated at prescribed intervals in a size the marshal can read from a passing truck. We coordinate directly with the local fire marshal's office if a lot is being re-scoped for compliance.
