Most commercial lots need concrete work alongside their asphalt — curb and gutter, sidewalk panels, dumpster pads, ADA ramps, detectable warning surfaces, and driveway approach aprons at street entries. Splitting those scopes between a paving contractor and a separate concrete contractor typically means longer schedules, coordination headaches, and finger-pointing at the joints. We handle both trades in-house, so one project manager owns the whole job from site walk to final walk.
Curb and gutter work covers new installs (extruded or formed), repair of damaged sections (typically from truck impact or freeze heave), and full replacement where curb is broken beyond repair. We tie curb into existing catch basins and drainage properly, so water follows the curb the way it was designed to.
Sidewalks and dumpster pads are where a lot of properties show wear first. Cracked, heaved or spalled sidewalk panels are trip hazards and liability. Failed dumpster pads — cracked from garbage-truck fork loads — are common. We saw-cut damaged panels, remove and haul off debris, form and pour fresh 4"–6" concrete over compacted stone base, finish to match surrounding surface, and cure properly.
ADA ramps and detectable warning surfaces are the compliance-critical concrete work. Ramp slope, landing area, side-flare geometry, and truncated-dome placement all have federal spec, and getting any of them wrong means the ramp isn't compliant even if it looks right. We install to current ADA-Accessible design and document the finish for your compliance file.
Middle Georgia Context
Middle Georgia weather, drainage patterns, traffic, and site conditions can all affect asphalt performance. Quality Paving evaluates each property individually and recommends scope based on observed conditions, intended use, materials, drainage, and scheduling needs rather than making predictive pavement-life promises.
